All volunteer coaches are required to successfully complete a background check before participating in practices or games. Information provided for the background check will be kept confidential and used only for screening purposes.
All volunteers associated with The Zones are required to successfully complete a criminal background check. When reviewing any criminal history, The Zones will consider factors such as the nature and seriousness of the offense, its relevance to the volunteer position, and the amount of time that has passed since the offense occurred.
By signing below, you authorize The Zones to conduct local, regional, and national criminal background checks as part of the volunteer screening process.
The Zones maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the use or possession of drugs or alcohol while volunteering, supervising youth, or participating in any activity on behalf of the organization.
