After School Volleyball Club is a fun, active program where students build volleyball skills, confidence, and teamwork in a supportive environment. Participants will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, serving, and game play while improving coordination and sportsmanship. Whether students are brand new to volleyball or looking to sharpen their skills, this club offers a positive space to stay active, make friends, and enjoy the game after school.
This program is structured to keep students actively engaged by focusing on the fundamentals of volleyball. Through fun, skill-based games and drills, students will develop essential techniques such as passing, setting, serving, and teamwork. The emphasis is on participation and enjoyment, creating a positive and inclusive environment where students can build confidence and stay active, without the pressure of formal competition.

7th - 8th Grades: 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm
3rd - 6th Grades: 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
$175 for an 8-week session

Week 1: Introduction to Volleyball - Basic rules, court layout, positions, basic drills
Week 2: Passing (Forearm Bump) - Platform, stance, direction control
Week 3: Setting - Hand placement, footwork, soft touch
Week 4: Serving (Underhand) - Arm swing, contact point, direction
Week 5: Passing + Setting Combo - Transitioning between skills
Week 6: Overhand Serving (Intro) - Toss, timing, follow-through
Week 7: Attacking (Hitting/Spiking - Basics) - Approach steps, jump timing, contact
Week 8: Blocking & Defense - Ready position, jumping, reaction time - game play!
