On Thursday evening, The Zones was honored to serve as the featured community partner at Montgomery Village's first Sunset Social of the summer. The event brought together neighbors, local businesses, families, and community organizations and allowed them to slow down, connect, and enjoy everything that makes this community worth celebrating.
Held at The Terrace at Fieldwork, Sunset Socials created the perfect atmosphere for the community to gather. Guests enjoyed live music by local artist Brian Baudoin, explored handmade goods from local vendors, and spent quality time with family and friends.
The Zones team had the opportunity to meet dozens of local families, introduce our youth programs, and reconnect with members of our community. We also hosted a featured art activity for children attending the event, giving young visitors a chance to get creative while learning more about us. Throughout the evening, we enjoyed sharing our mission of empowering youth through academics, athletics, creative arts, health and wellness, and workforce development while answering questions about our year-round programs and upcoming opportunities.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared a conversation, or learned more about The Zones. We loved meeting so many new faces and strengthening relationships with our neighbors. Together, we're building a stronger, more connected community!
