During Safety Week, youth participate in high-engagement, high-impact programming that fosters knowledge of personal and community safety, and encourages future planning and self-reliance. Topics and activities explored in this week include meeting first responders and learning about careers in the public service, basic first aid, CPR, fire safety, asking for help, and touring first response vehicles. In 2023, our partners included the Santa Rosa Junior College Firefighter and Culinary Departments, Summit State Bank, American Medical Response (AMR), the Santa Rosa Fire Department, and REDCOM Dispatch.
