Named after mentor for youth Ron Williams, the Ron Williams Award recognizes excellence in sportsmanship in our youth basketball players.
Ron Williams has been a volunteer coach and referee for The Zones’ Youth Basketball League for 20 years. Ron believes that learning to collaborate as a team, instilling respect for coaches and referees, while achieving personal growth are the most important aspects of youth sports. Nominated by coaches, the Ron Williams Award honors young players who demonstrate these characteristics and excellence in sportsmanship.
