During Health & Wellness Week, daily activities and visiting presenters teach youth about their bodies and minds, and how to make choices that benefit wellbeing including eating a healthy diet, practicing mindfulness, and being physically active. Our most recent week included visits from: Santa Rosa Community Health Resilience Collab who shared methods for stress management; Western Health Advantage who taught members about the sources and issue of consuming sugar; Jedi Master Teryn Kelley, who’s "Journey of the Saber" session combined fitness, meditation, and fun; Doctor Trish from Kaiser Permanente who talked about brain health; and Crunch Fitness who lead yoga and aerobics classes.
